Bu9gle9ug Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Just a note im in New Zealand and have 2mb connection but have a 10gig cap it costs us an absolute bucketload of cash to have our upload more than 5kbs, it costs $60 a month for the 10gig then 20cents a mb over my cap which adds up to alot if i go over. Some people just cant afford to have the upload any higher.
Firon Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I suggest something not BT then, because BT is the wrong place to be if you can't upload much. Traditional P2P networks or Usenet are a better choice.
Bu9gle9ug Posted March 12, 2006 Author Report Posted March 12, 2006 Ok thanks, ill stick to bittorent found out at the end of the month my isp throttles me back to 56k and dont get charged for the "crappy speed" that i get after my cap is blown. its not really an issue accept for crappy speeds. share ratio is at 1.000
