CanopusArchives
Sorry to sound dumb, but, why is IPFilter.dat blocking peer 192.168.0.1? This is my router's address so is the filter blocking me or what? Bet there's a simple explanation I'm overlooking
DreadWingKnight
Where did you get your ipfilter.dat file?
Switeck
Loopbacks from the router can get annoying if not blocked. Some forms of loopbacks can be disabled in the router, which is preferable over letting them all through and then having uTorrent block them.I had some annoying loopback problems on my router (utorrent kept trying to connect to itself on the LAN and WAN ips) and had to disable the router's firewall/SPI as well as loopbacks. Even that didn't "fix" it, so I even ended up banning my own LAN and WAN ip as well as the router's LAN ip in ipfilter.dat!
CanopusArchives
Hmmm, I'm using the Netgear ADSL Modem Wireless Router DG834G and I can't see any settings in it to stop loop-back. As it's the first time I've activated that particular logging in several years of use I presume it has always been doing that without me being aware of it to no ill effect of up or download so I'll let it continue for the time being and keep an eye on it. Afraid all the other suggestions you made made my head swim so a bit of studying is in order
