speed change when restart

can anyone tell me why it seems that when some of my downloads go real slow and there not many peer's/seeds if i then restart utorrent it comes back with loads or peers / seeds

ok what happening here is

i downloading 0ne torrent 6 peers 3 seeds

when i start bit torrent the dl speed rises quickly to 300 kpbs

then after about 4 min falls to almost 0

when i restart it rises again to 300

every time i restart it does this

And what is happening is that your per torrent connections multiplied by your max active torrents is exceeding your global connection limit.

Try running fewer torrents at once.

You didn't tell uTorrent to limit upload speed for uTP connections...and it seems you're having overloads from that.

You might be having the PEX flood bug as well (happens on busy torrents with >100 peers+seeds even if you're not connected to very many). This can cause progressive banning of many of the fast peers+seeds that connect to you, until your speeds are rather low.
