uTorrent Stuck on Updating

Hey, all. Awesome forum here. I was wondering if you could help me solve this issue.

I opened up uTorrent (Mac) and clicked on the newest update (1.0.2). Unfortunately (my fault), I tried to empty my very full Trash.

Now, uTorrent is stuck on the Installing Update... window, and I can't quit the program or re-install it manually (because uTorrent is open).

Any idea on how to fix this? I know it was a stupid mistake on my part, but I hope this is fixable. Thanks.

PS - I tried to drag uTorrent (from Applications folder) into AppZapper and the Trash. No success (message says it's still open).

PPS - I also can't shut down my MacBook Pro because uTorrent cancels shut down.

Sorry about that problem. I assume that you somehow got if closed by now. In the future, you should try force quit (right click on the icon or CMD+OPT+ESC) or start the Activity Monitor and quit from there.
