Proxy Server Settings

In the Windows version, there are "Proxy Privacy" under the "Proxy Server" settings, including :

* Disable all local DNS lookup

* Disable features that leak identifying information

* Disable connections unsupported by the proxy

Are these features implemented in the Linux version, build 23090 ?

Or they will be available in the future versions ?

Is the current version safe enough to protect my privacy if I have a "safe" proxy and have all the utorrent settings correctly set ?

Looking at the source code that is used to build the release (23418) that is ready today (availability will depend on Firon's schedule):

* disabling all local DNS lookups (setting no_local_dns) is implemented

* disabling connections unsupported by the proxy (setting only_proxied_conns) is implemented

If you give me a specific list of features potentially leaking identifying information, I can look at those.

I think these features were available in 23090 but I don't have the time to verify that.

My mistake - I got distracted. The private_ip setting is associated with the Disable features that leak identifying information check box in the Connection tab of the Preferences dialog. It is implemented in revision 23418 and is probably implemented in the previous release (23090) since I don't recall that code being changed recently.

Thanks for your reply and I got the answer.

Another problem is high CPU usage, this problem exists in both Linux and Windows version.
