cymbaline
Hi... new here!I know this is not a new question... a few threads before for the same question:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=78490http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=89506But still I have a doubt. The responses were "save the data in the "%appdata%\utorrent" folder and the folders set in "preferences > directories (if necessary)"... no problem with that.My doubt is when I go to "%appdata%\utorrent" there are only a few files (settings.dat, resume.dat, dht.dat, utorrent.lng, among others) and some torrents I've downloaded in the past... but NOT all the torrents, in fact, there are only a few torrents in there (I mean .torrent files) and NO active ones, those who now I'm seeding... that is my doubt...Is this normal?...Thanks in advance! moogly
Look at Preferences > Directories, maybe you have defined a .torrent storage folder.
cymbaline
sure, I know where are the .torrent files, I created a folder for them... the thing is... why there are some torrents on that location?? "%appdata%\utorrent"that means something?? which are the files that should be in that folder?? cheers
moogly
Because they come from deleted torrent jobs. You likely selected Remove .torrent so µT deleted the .torrent and kept the data. You need only to back up the .torrents related to the torrent jobs loaded in µT.
