Trackers update when uTorrent is stopped by scheduler

Is there anyway to stop the trackers updating when the scheduler has stopped all torrents.

There's a setting to disable DHT but not the other trackers.

I've searched the settings several times but couldn't find anything.

What version/s of uTorrent are doing this? v2.0.4, v2.2, v2.2.1, and/or v3.0?

I see scraping of trackers but not normal tracker updates in my 1 test to duplicate your results, but I started out with all outgoing connection attempts stopped using both bt.connect_speed = 0 and net.max_halfopen = 0

Sorry i forgot that bit, it's mostly 2.0.4 though i noticed this with all previous versions i have used.

At first i just assumed it was a setting somewhere i hadn't found, but i think i've found them all now.

ISP traffic shapers may throttle everything even if all they see is tracker updates.

Part of the point of setting Scheduler to STOP is to minimize bandwidth usage. While individually tracker updates are minor in bandwidth usage, what if you have 100's across all your active torrents?

uTorrent announces on every tracker tier, so that can end up being not-so-trivial.

I only wished to minimise bandwidth as much as possible during peak hours, i can only afford a small cap, my isp has no traffic shaping or throttling but it does cap during the day. But by night i have 100's going and as Switeck says, this is no small amount.
