Valaris
This problem randomly started today and out of the blue. Even without a download in Utorrent, as soon as the client boots up it completely kills my connection to ustream/Justin.tv. And this is on all computers in the network too. I tried the guides in the stickies already. I've forwarded my ports once more. I've reset clients/browsers/computers/router/modem. Only by reseting the last two (which technically is one of the same) can I get a decent connection but as soon as Utorrent starts up again, my connection ustream and Jtv go right down to crap. Anyone seen this before?
Switeck
Did you try disabling UPnP, NAT-PMP, DHT, LPD, uTP, and Resolve IPs in uTorrent?...or reducing net.max_halfopen and bt.connect_speed?Do you happen to have a 2wire modem? (Many of those are crap and reported to overload from uTorrent easily.)
Valaris
Yes I did try all of those.I do have a 2wire modem. You're good! Is there anything that can be done to lessen the stress right now?
Switeck
Maybe this:http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r24593936-Speed-Problem-Failure-to-find-sites-DNS-problem-w2Wire...Or put that modem-router in bridged mode or DMZ mode with a proper router connected to it.It's remotely possible that Bell ADSL ISP in Canada is doing some really strange "remote killing" of your line when BitTorrent traffic is detected, but even they're probably not that stupid on account of how many tech support phone calls that'd generate. Their throttling/disruption methods can however fool Glasnost tests.
