Torrents behind a firewall

Ok Could someone point me in the right direction.

I can download torrents just fine everywhere, except for at work, sometimes.

If I restart my computer @ work the torrents just sit there and do nothing, but

If I connect to another internet source not behind the firewall and let the torrents start, hibernate the computer, then restart @ work the torrents download just fine.

Could someone tell me exactly why this happens, and how to reliably duplicate it, or point me in the right direction.

I have some guesses, but thats all they are.

Tracker updates are probably blocked at work, so if you have a list of working peer/seed ips uTorrent can still connect to them.

DHT is probably blocked as well by at least a NAT firewall.
