kiwanotree
I have a Windows Home Server and I used a standard tutorial to install µTorrent as a service.1. Create new user "WHS Services"2. Log on as WHS Services and install µTorrent3. Create a µTorrent service4. Configure µTorrent to monitor a folder for torrentsThis works like a charm and is a fantastic way to manage my downloads, which are scheduled to run only at certain times. The issue I have is with the deletion of old torrents themselves - when I log on as WHS Services and select a torrent then select to either remove the torrent or the torrent + data, when I next log on the torrent is back.Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? kiwanotree
Hmm after getting home and playing with the system I think it might be related to µTorrent running as a service.I can't get into the WebUI - I set the password in the preferences and save them but when I try, it doesn't work. I think that is because when I remote desktop into the windows home server I'm changing the settings for the wrong version of µTorrent.I'm going to try to stop the service, adjust everything, then start the service again. kiwanotree
Aha, that did it - I stopped the service that was running under "WHS Services", changed the webui password and deleted a few old .torrent files, then started the service again. Seemed to fix it all.Now to sort out this "Loading..." issue with the webui
