alphax
I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a feature request, but uTorrent could do this better:If I have a significantly reduced limit on the Maximum number of active torrents, i.e. Preferences dialog -> Queuing tab -> the first setting (number), compared to the number of torrents that I'm seeding, it would make sense to cycle through and eliminate the torrents that have no leechers to make better use of my upload bandwidth.Let's say I'm seeding 100 torrents, and I only want to actively seed 4 at any given time because of my limited upload bandwidth. Typically, a lot of those 100 torrents are sitting there with zero leechers, so why should uTorrent give a valuable active slot to seed a torrent with no leechers? What I see uTorrent doing currently is a random selection of those torrents when the program starts, frequently with zero leechers, everything else being inactive, including torrents with a high leecher count.Instead, it should quickly eliminate zero-leecher torrents to give "active" slots to torrents that actually have leechers. Does that make sense?
Switeck
uTorrent should allow you to set the priority on seeding torrents just like you can on downloading torrents. That would at least allow you to always start at least 1 busy torrent first.
alphax
I'm talking about uTorrent's ability to prioritize slots within the set of seeding torrents, not seeding torrents vs downloading torrents.
Switeck
What I meant is not a feature uTorrent currently has.Currently, you can't queue a seeding torrent to "start next".
