Need your help, utorrent gone back in time

PC hard locked for unknown reasons, i power cycled it and it came back. I loaded utorrent and the last completed torrent was May 2009. The date is set correctly on the terminal and the RSS information in utorrent is still current.

The directory %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent has the most recent torrents. Is there a way to force a refresh to try and detect the existing torrents without individually specifying the download location?

Or is there any internal functionality that backs up the loaded torrent database that i could manually switch back too?

Of course my server of downloaded files is backed up but it never occured to me to backup the download only PC as i thought there was nothing of importance on it. Except if i want to seed !!
