2.2.1 build 23 551 eats 95% of ram

As stated - build 23 551 eats 95% of ram, nearly all. Total 325 torrents, 50 active.

Special settings (have them since 2.1): bt.connect_speed 100, peer.disconnect_inactive_interval 100. Other settings pretty stock. Played with turning on and off caching read and write to disk, no effect.

After closing program and when all descriptors are closed, cpu utilizing goes to 100%, system is freezing. After a minute ram is partially free, cpu utilization goes down.

is it actually the utorrent.exe process using the ram?

That's what i want to know too.. On one screenshot it uses about 95 megs, but we can clearly see how the amount of used ram is changing after closing utorrent.

Then it's windows' disk cache being stupid AGAIN

When i searched through forum i got topic like this: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=90146 but with no answers. I tried his settings pattern, then w/out disabling win cache and finally as i have it now - with caching read and writes and with win cache enbled.

New data: installed 2.0.4 build 22 967 and ram is fully eaten again. What the ..
