upnp not working in win7 x64 (updated)

upnp is not working in the last few versions of utorrent (I am not sure since which version, since I only noticed recently). I am on windows 7 x64. My router is the Siemens speedstream 4200. I have the upnp message logging on in both utorrent and the router. utorrent says it is trying to open the port but failing, but the router is only showing a upnp status request, and no attempts to open the ports. Other programs have no trouble opening ports with upnp: azureus/vuze does fine, and so does call of duty. In those cases I can see from the router log the attempt and that it is succesful. I completele uninstalled my firewall/internet suite but it made no difference. The funny thing is, the little status bar icon shows green. However all trackers show me as not connectable. Any ideas?

edit: upnp seems to be working on other machines running 32bit windows 7 and xp in the same home network.
