Red download arrows

I installed the latest version of µTorrent.

Some download arrows are now shown in red - does this mean that some port is closed?

How do I in that case find out which port to open?

No, it means there's a tracker error. Check the trackers tab for the specific error.

Depending on what the error is, alternative trackers might not help.

Provide the tracker status please.

I have this:

thepiratebay closed their tracker ages ago.

I suppose I will have to search for the file again.

It worked a few weeks ago but didn't finish.

So that tracker will have worked at least 4 weeks ago.

But I suppose that The Pirate Bay is closing down because of recent happenings.

Hardly. The tracker side of it closing happened over 6 months ago.

Or add another tracker like http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce or http://tracker.prq.to:80/announce to the tracker list.

port :80 is not needed, that's the default port for http.

http://tracker.publicbt.com/announce or http://tracker.prq.to/announce

will do just as well.

On the other hand, the port probably needs to be included for udp trackers.
