bobrea
Hey everyone, just built a new computer and switched from XP to Vista. Now when I use utorrent (2.2) I can't browse the web and my download speeds are ridiculously slow. In the bottom of utorrent there is a red dot that says "Stopped by user activity." Utorrent is set to be allowed access to the internet by Windows. Needless to say, I'm very frustrated and any help would be appreciated. So thank you in advance. DreadWingKnight
Is it actually "Stopped by user activity" and not "Stopped by scheduler"?

gman9772
as for the original problem with "stopped due to user activity" i solved it by unchecking the "stop transfers on user interaction." for the slow downloads check out some online advanced preference guides. and for not being able to connect to the internet through utorrent make sure you check the "add windows firewall exception." these worked for me but im not sure if it will work in your case.
