HI I was wondering if I could ask some questions please about utorrent for Windows Vista

You see I am fairly new to this type of file sharing so I was wanting to now somethings about utorrent for windows Vista.

I was wondering is it safe to download bittorrtent files are these files free from viruses, worms, trojans, malware, and spyware?

Can I get in trouble from law enforcement or lawyers for downloading bittorrent files from the internet?

Is their anyway to find Bittorrent files that I can download without worry from law enforcement or legal trouble?

Are all the bittorrent files free no charge to download from the internet?

Are their any security features built into utorrent to block bad websites is their any security features in uttorrent to search for safe bittorrent files from the internet?

All these questions are answered on the board.

1/ Downloading is safe if you don't donwload suspicious torrents like cracks, keygens, cracked softwares etc... But there are not new security orders, before BitTorrent that was already the case.

But if it's possible, suspicious torrents can be reported to the torrent website (tracker, indexer) and be deleted (or read the torrent comments, sometimes you'll find some info).

2/ Depends on you country law. Sometimes downloading is legal but not uploading. Honestly who cares?

4/ Proxy settings in µT to improve your anonymity, not a 100% safe solution.
