How to change settings from outside of the uTorrent

Hi all,

I need to change some uTorrent settings from my own Windows program running on the same computer. I know they are stored on settings.dat file, and I know about WebUI API, but

- settings.dat format is not directly writable

- WebUI can be disabled

- command line options don't allow to set up the program's options

What is the best way to change the settings outside of the uTorrent ?

You can use BEncode Editor to edit settings.dat.

Info: This only works with uTorrent not running.
