stevenblanc
Alright folks,So I upgraded to BitTorrent 7.2 and I used the built in speed guide to adjust the setting which I then checked against the online tables and they match up.I have a home network with 1 desktop and 4 laptops. 2 of which sit idle most of the day and only use the network to play music or stream television at night off the desktop. The third laptop, is an ASUS running Windows Vista and until the addition of the new laptop has been getting speeds up 250 kb/s down. The 4th laptop, is an ASUS running Windows 7 64-Bit and has become my main computer. With no activity on the first 3 computers I am peaking at about 5kb/s down across three downloads, with most of the day hovering below 1kb/s.Each torrent has between 100-250 available seeds and twice that many peers. I would be content with making even 20kb/s on each at this point.I have tried reducing it to one download and one upload at a time with no effect. I also tried loading up a fairly recent torrent on my older ASUS with 1000 + available seeds and peers and I'm still not crossing 1 kb/s on that either. The computers both run AVG free antivirus and use Windows firewall and I've had no past problems arise from these.According to the test, I have an upload speed of roughly 300 kb/s and I have the settings as follows:Upload Limit: 34 kb/sConnections Per Torrent: 70Max active torrents: 3Upload Slots: 4Connections: 200Max Active downloads: 2If any other information would be useful please let me know.I appreciate your help in advance,Regards,Steven
