ZOMGVTEK
As my list of seeding torrents grows, I have been having issues with uTorrent crashing every few days. What makes no sense to me, is that it waits for me to report the crash before opening again! This can be a few days, since its a headless box that I don't monitor closely. If it opened by itself again, that would be much easier. My computer itself has crashed from time to time. Sometimes it becomes unresponsive, but it usually just reboots and I hear it POST. I assume uTorrent or a high amount of connections is causing Windows to crash, but it generally isn't a issue as it will reboot.I just updated it to the latest version. It runs 24/7/365, and has been doing so for about 3 years. It was a fresh install of XP with no firewall, antiviral, or anything odd going on. I don't browse the internet on it, it just seeds. It currently has around 2800 torrents seeding, which I would assume is the main issue. If I toss a hundred new torrents to download at it, I cant be all that sure its going to reliably download them anymore. Is there any good way to make this re-open all by itself without asking me to send a crash log? Do I happen to just be expecting too much from this software? I don't really see many people seeding that many torrents...
rafi
Do I happen to just be expecting too much from this software? If you ask me - yes, you are... Especially from a newly designed GUI (in 2.2). Realistically - your best bet is reverting back to 2.04 till 2.2 bugs are ironed up in 2.2.1...It actually surprises me to hear that even 2.04 can hold ~3000 actively seeding torrents
