5panks
Hi, I am running Windows 7 and have the newest non-beta version of Utorrent. I am a regular torrent user, but I have run into an issue with Utorrent. Every time Utorrent is running, no matter how much DL/UL it is doing I have no internet access. I have limited it to 100 up and 100 down and paused all torrents but I still cannot access the internet.I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad. I use wireless internet. I have used Frostwire for torrents fine, but I prefer Utorrent as it has a simple interface and I already know how it works. It downloads everything fine, but without fail every time I open utorrent I lose access to the internet. If there is any more information you need just ask away I want to get this problem fix
Firon
Lower the connection count and maybe turn DHT off.
5panks
Wow sorry to waste your guys' time my connections were at 200 with 50 connections per torrent! I guess someone was using my computer and really needed something fast!!! What would you guys reccomend as a new setting?
Firon
Try halving the max count to 100 and setting just 35 per torrent. You may also want to try turning DHT off in the settings, maybe even uTP (it's called "enable bandwidth management").
