burf
I'm not sure anyone here can help, but thought it worth a try.Everything is configured as I've always had uTorrent configured. Everything works on all trackers except one private tracker I use often, where I get a "connection closed by peer" message.I've contacted the administrator, to see if there are any problems, or if for some reason I may've been banned. He said all's good.I can see on the tracker website, that others are connected.I've tried totally opening my firewall, disengaging my antivirus, all the usual steps... but still can't connect. So, I'm just wondering what types of issues could cause this on one tracker, where I normally download from, while everything else is fine? This happened to me earlier this year, with the same tracker, but one day it was normal again.By the way, as a test, I downloaded another torrent client, and was able to connect fine... so this is uTorrent related. (using the latest version on XP sp3)I'd like to figure this out, so it doesn't happen again. I'm puzzled. Thanks for any help!
Switeck
Does your ISP use a transparent proxy?...Or are you using a proxy or VPN?
burf
No to all. It's just strange, it seems to happen out of nowhere... no changes to my system, uT, or anything, since the last time I was able to connect. All other trackers, private & public are fine. And I'm able to connect with another torrent client.Just weird. Thanks for the reply! Switeck
They may have banned (or not allowed yet) the specific uTorrent version you're using.
burf
I tried that one too, reverting to v2.0.4.I'm at a loss. Are there any likely settings in uT, that a tracker might spit out? Thanks again for the replies...
Switeck
I don't know...can you ask someone else try the same tracker using v2.2?(Tell them to back up their settings and resume files for uTorrent first!)
