Had to do a windows 7 restore

First I'd like to say hello to all.

I recently had to do a system restore on a windows 7 box.

the restore was about a month old. I had been downloading a rather large file. and at the time of the crash it was about half finished. when I did the restore U torrent showed the file as the size it was when I backed up my system.

my question is a multi part one. is this going to affect the final out come of the download?

if so how do I correct it? and is there a way in the client to force it to look at the file and reread it so that the ui shows the correct file size?
