Socks5 proxy port

I've just updated to 2.2 and enabled a socks5 proxy via Btguard using port 1025.

I'm relatively new to the whole proxy scene, so I was just wondering whether the traffic I'm seeing is normal.

I'm running Peerblock, and while reviewing the log was expecting to see all of my uttorent traffic to be routed through port 1025. While I am seeing some traffic go through 1025 to Btguard's servers, there is still a large number of connections from the port utorrent is listening on, to various other ips and port numbers. Is my proxy working correctly, or is it leaking? What settings should I have enabled/disabled to ensure proper security? Should I use a firewall to block all these other incoming port #'s?
