tonkpills Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Hi, this is my fist post, and I not sure if I'm in the right place. The thing is no matter what I do, I can't open my uTorrent ports.Everyone says maybe I'm double NATing but I don't thing thats the case because I have Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Onile for PC and I followed the step by step config by portfoward.com and I opened my ports and it is running great.I followed the same steps for uTorrent at portfoward.com and I can't open them.It shows me the green icon at the bottom right and says "Network OK. Your network connection is working as it should."But when I double click it and brings me the test, I run the network test and says... "Neither NAT-PMP nor UPnP is enabled. Please check your preferences." If I check the "Automatic Port Mapping (Recomended)" and run the test says, " Results: Port is not open (you are still able to download)."I'm using a port between 40000 and 48000 which worked fine for 3 years.I've tried ports between 20000 and 30000 but the same result. Please HELP!!!!Thanks in advance!
Switeck Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Sorry, we can't help.We know NOTHING about your network setup, nothing about your ISP, and nothing about what firewall/s you have running.
tonkpills Posted December 26, 2010 Author Report Posted December 26, 2010 I'm from Mexico so my ISP doesn't block torrents. My firewall is Norton 360 which I already configure to let uTorrent work.I've already try to turn it off but is the same result.I've followed every tuto to configure uTorrent and nothing seem to work.I'm through a TP-Link router and configure it by the steps shown by portfoward.com.The thing is if I already make Call of duty modern warfare 2 to work, which I thing is more strict with the NAT config, why I can't make uTorrent to work?
