utorrent stops comp from working

Hi all

Hope you can help ........some times u-torrent will not respond and I have to shut it down and start again till it kicks in but once it is up and running it is OK.

Everything is OK with U torrent it does what it should do with pretty quick downloads but my comp will not respond when U torrent is running and as I like to seed what I take out ,it makes it frustrating as I can't use the comp when reseeding, I don't mind for the down load as it doesn't usually take that long .

hope you can help ...newbie ish
