Strange problem with downloading speeds

Hi,

I was using utorrent 1.8.5 for past 1 months and was getting a download speed of 45/55 kbps (I have a internet connection 384 kbps day/512 kbps night.) But two days back I upgraded to the 2.2 version and for the start I was getting the same speed which I used to get on 1.8.5 but since yesterday I am not getting speeds at all in any of the torrents I am downloading. (even though the seeds/leeches for some torrent are 3500/2500 and connected are 120/65 in that torrent.)

So I got back to 1.8.5 and when I start the download my speed goes till 45 kbps for few seconds and then gets back to 1-2 kbps.

I tried 5-6 different torrents and still facing the same problem. Any help!

I use v2.2.1 beta, even though it too has speed problems if I don't use a low global connections max.
