Hight CPU Usage and Error Messages

I have been using Utorrent for years and all of sudden(last month) I have been having serious problems and I can't fix them. Please someone help or direct me in the right direction.

1) I get very High CPU Usage when running utorrent

2) As a result by browser freezes up and I cant even use my computer

3) When it is downloading I get error messages like this

"Cannot access the file because its being used by another process.

I have tried switching the downloaded folder to a list instead of a thumnail, excluded utorrent from my firewall( CA Internet Suite 2010)

I am really stumped to what has happen. I have even unistalled utorrent, formated my harddrive and nothing seems to work.
