HD via ftp

I bought a draytek vigor 2820Vn that allow to plug a hard disk and to share it on the network via ftp.

On my windows XP laptop, I mount a new drive on that ftp hd. Then I started a new torrent and saved it on this drive. But with no success... I'm getting opening errors after few minutes of download.

I tried connecting the laptop via wi-fi and ethernet. Same problem.

Probably the problem is not utorrent but Windows?!?

Anyone can explain me the way to use the network drive in a good way?
