shoham666 Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Hello all,I have an ADSL line of 15MB/750KB.lately when I try to download files the seeded files and the downloaded files take up 95% of my upload capacity and it drops my download speeds to about 50KBPS-60KBPS.if I delete the seeded files I get higher download speed but I don't get credit for the seeding. if I leave the files to be seeded I can't download.how do I limit my upload speed for the seeded files.kind Regards,Shoham
tgunda Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 General upload limit:Righ-click on the status bar right side, where the upload speed is displayed, and select a speed. You can do the same via the preferences menu. For individual torrents:Right-click on the torrent name - From the pop-up menu select Bandwidth allocation - Set upload limit.
nobby2 Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 I was having a bandwidth problem so i limited my upload speed to just 2kb but it just goes as high as it wants. I changed it through the above mentioned method and by using the preferences, no effect.
