Blinding Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I find that if I set both "net.disable_incoming_ipv6" and "Enable bandwidth management [uTP]" then I get the red circle that says it is unable to listen on the port. When I run netstat -an I find that it no longer has a listen port for TCP on the number I am using. The port works fine if I do not make these settings. The gateway and the windows firewall allow that port though. Netstat -an shows a TCP listen port and I have the green network OK symbol. Either setting seems fine; only the combination causes a problem. The reason I tried disabling the ipv6 because several postings have indicated that as a possible cause for uTorrent refusing to exit. When I exit uTorrent then it disappears from the systray but task manager shows it still running indefinitely. This is for uTorrent 2.2 on XP SP3.
childofthetao Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 One more thing I just discovered, it works fine in safe mode (green tick, torrents download).Any ideas?EDIT: Lol wrong bloody thread
