dbunder Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Upgraded my router firmware to see it has port triggering, finally. Decided to try it. From what I can see, it's a hardware and software thing. It's enabled on my router, but I'm having trouble getting it to work on windows. The way you do it in windows is set up ports uPNP uses for triggering. Only thing is, I use SEVERAL ports for bittorrent, and uPNP setup in windows only allows one port at a time to be set up. Is there a way to get it to use a port range, instead of just port by port? Thanks for any help.
Firon Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Port triggering doesn't really work with BT.
dbunder Posted March 13, 2006 Author Report Posted March 13, 2006 Doh! I just hate locking my roomies out of BT and whatnot. But if that's the case, screw the roomies.
