Installing uTorrent on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

I am new to Linux and am trying to install uTorrent.I have the file downloaded but can not get it to install.The file is uTorrent-server-3.0-23418.tar.gz.Please inform,thanks

Did you try reading the documentation in the tarball?

There is no "install" as such, I don't think anyone has produced an Unbuntu package yet. Just untar it somewhere convenient and run it. I suggest /opt. If you like, you can then read the threads about running as a daemon.

Is ther a person who can explain how we (new ubuntu users) can install the bit client in ubuntu.

I see a file called server (execute file) but it has a padlock besides the file. Is this the file to execute ?

and how do we execute it (there is no option in the menu).. it will not run in the browser, Is there a command line we can run ?

If you're going to be an ass and not actually look at the "docs" folder inside the tarball (yes it's there, don't try telling me it isn't), don't waste our time saying the documentation isn't there.
