Of course some civil defendants have been found liable, back when the environment was different.Guilty of a US crime? No. I don't know about the UK. ShelLuser Posted January 16, 2011 Report Share Posted January 16, 2011 Well, as pointed out by the others; it depends on what you download and where you're at.For example; Debian (Linux distribution) also supplies its downloads as a torrent. As such its not illegal to grab or share those. Other contents on the other hand...Some countries allow easily for download of stuff whereas uploading....
