Revan24 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Hello,I am sorry if this has already been answered somewhere but my search turned up nothing...Today I encountered a .torrent file created by user using µTorrent 1.0.2 (23439) that contained an integer key called "encoded rate" inside it. Value of this key was "-1".What exactly is this key and what are its possible values?I tried googling for this and even checked the official specification but without any luck....P.S. Sorry for my english, I am not a native speaker
Firon Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 I think it might be the estimated bitrate of a video/audio file. Not sure why it's set to -1 though, maybe it wasn't able to parse it.
Revan24 Posted February 5, 2011 Author Report Posted February 5, 2011 Thanks a lot!It was a torrent of mp4 file so that would make a sense - is this feature documented somewhere? I am trying to develop a tracker in my free time and would be interested in some specification of this behavior P.S.Sorry for replying so late...
