Heyyo
I'm on a capped internet plan and for some reason last month I had used up all my download allowance much quicker than usual. By using my firewall to monitor the download speeds of the programs running, I found uTorrent to be using approx twice as much download bandwidth than what it indicates. So it's basically downloading 2 files only to receive the one. This also causes utorrent to DL at a maximum of half my available bandwidth:(. I have only noticed this a few days ago, what could be causing this and what can be done to fix this?
Ultima
Possibly overhead. Enable Preferences > gui.overhead_in_statusbar.
Heyyo
Woah, thanks for the quick reply!Hmm hasn't done anything noticeable.Could my firewall be misreading my speeds?Windows Task manager averages 2-3% of 100Mbps so that translates to about 250-375kB/s I think (which is basically the uTorrent speeds). My firewall is reading 500-900K.What other programs can monitor my incoming and outgoing speeds of my computer? Is there one that will measure uTorrent itself? But on my ISP usage page, the abnormalities have occurred there too, they have measured twice the usage than uTorrent has for the days that this has occurred...
