ripperace
Hello people! I'm new to the forum, but have been using uTorrent for several months now. Formalities out of the way, I'll post my problem.I've been getting all my files from btjunkie, and have never had any issues. Well, today I've been trying to download some files, and keep getting the message:Error: Former Volume Not MountedI haven't changed any settings on my computer or with uTorrent. I did download the latest update to uTorrent. That was the ONLY thing different that I have done. Since that download, I keep getting this error message on EVERY FILE I try to download. Does anyone know what the issue is?Thank You all!Ripper
moogly
Where are you saving your downloads? On an external drive?

moogly
2 frequent causes:1/ you started µT before connecting the external drive to your computer (force a rechek)2/ the drive letter has changed (look at the disk manager in Windows and revert back the letter)
ripperace
My external hard drive is signed in, and the name of the drive hasn't ever changed, so I'm still stumped:(. Could it be that I'm using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer?Ripper

Firon
Look at the save path in the General tab in µTorrent. Look at the drive letter, then look at the letter assigned to your drive currently. Change the drive letter to match what uT is expecting.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307844http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-add-or-remove-a-drive-letter
ripperace
Thank You Firon!!! Don't know why, or how but that solved it! My destination drive was labeled as "H" when it should have been "G".
