Hey everyone,

I'm new here, excited to be part of the community finally!

I have a question, I've been using utorrent for sometime now, everything was good my speeds reached 740kBs.

Ive read some forums and tried to play around with it for a few days now and can't even get a file to break 100kBs.

I can reply fast with the information you need for me to display.

If you keeped the same settings and the speed has dropped then the problem probably lies in the new version. What version did you use before going to this version? I myself had this very same issue and wasn't til I went back to 2.0.4 version that my DN/UP speeds returned to what they were. So check my link and reinstall 2.0.4 over the current version and rerun ut and see what happens. Just make sure you saved the install .exe for the current version you installed and download 2.0.4 so you have a install file to use just in case.

this thread sure is helpful, but i have yet to try out the suggestions. i have been having the same problem, im using windows 7, dl speed became slow suddenly from time to time, and only recently too. but the xp computer here on the same place, has no problems. very weird indeed. on the windows 7, i have tried out dl-ing from filesharing sites and have been able to reach max speed... so i thought that the problem was on utorrent itself. will be reporting on results after i try it out tomorrow.
