rusty shackleford
If this is in the wrong section, I appologise in advance, This is my first post.---Hi, I've been following along with utorrent for around 5 years now, and have never come across anything I could not fix on my own through good old fashioned detective work until today, that is.I have the WebUI-like firefox extension found here on the forums. I downloaded it here, but it keeps throwing up the following error. An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.1.54:53912.SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)this usually wouldn't be a problem, but it pops up several times in a row and it happens all the time.the torrents that where active at the time have since finished, but according to the webui, they are still downloding. In a word, the UI on firefoxs side seems to have froze. Here is the last update time / status from the diagnostics tab.last update time: Wed Jan 26 2011 00:57:46 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time)I am going to post the status code in a reply, because it doesn't seem to want to show up in the preview.stats:XP PRO- 32 bit @ 1.6 GHz w/ 1GB ram standard install.Firefox: Firefox/3.6.13 w/ extenions:#utorrent#1-clickweather#adblock plus#all in one sidebar#autopager#brief#downloadhelper#flagfox#https-everywhere#IE tab2 (FF 3.6+)#java console#java quick starter#live http headers#microsoft .net framework assistant -- Not compatible w/ firefox 3.6.13#noscript#persoas#webmail notifier#wotconnection :wireless Bif anyone could point me in the correct direction, I would appreciate it!thanks for the help. moogly
The addon is probably broken. Did you try another webUI like MiniUI?
rusty shackleford
The addon is probably broken. Did you try another webUI like MiniUI?Hello moogly!thank you for the reply, does MiniUI have a setting to automatically update the download/upload speed in my status bar? that's actually the feature I enjoyed the most, is there a way to repair this addon? DreadWingKnight
Considering that the addon likely isn't developed by us, pestering the development team of the addon will be the better route.

If I have made an error in judgment, please correct me by suggesting another option. The original developer, again linked above has stated that he has not had the time to work on the add-on so, I doubt that it would do any good.
