rkenimer
Now that I have my logger tab back, I see:[2011-01-28 16:03:32] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:02] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:03] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:11] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:11] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:11] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:11] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:13] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:13] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:23] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:31] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:41] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:04:43] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peer[2011-01-28 16:05:22] Banning peer: same peer id as existing peerThis is happening many times per minute. Is the ban not taking effect, or are there really that many peers that need banning?
Firon
The long string was just accidental placeholder text to fix a weird wrapping bug when the string was too long.
rkenimer
OK here's an update on the Peer ID issue, I enabled additional logging and have found that prior to each ban in the log, I get the following:[2011-01-31 17:03:20] Incoming connection from 192.168.56.1:20000However, 192.168.56.* is not my network, and is the IP address that is displayed in the log every time. Is someone attempting to spoof an IP address? My network is 192.168.10.*. My port is 20,000, like in the message above, but that message above is the from port not the to port, which makes me even more suspicious.
