NineTails
An option to delete a file from a multi-file torrent would be highly welcome as it would allow saving disk space without the need of going the folder(s) and deleting them manually, and then doing a hash check in µTorrent. I might imagine the problem is a topical one as there are lots of TV series available for download today, and netbooks with low capacity drives have become popular. A 20 Gb torrent file thus might be downloaded sequentially, older files deleted while the new ones are set to high priority. This makes it necessary for many users to do things manually and wait for quite a time. Also, when using µTorrent remotely, absence of the feature makes it necessary to use remote assistance applications.I can also imagine that if the state with some of the files missing is a normal one for µTorrent, deleting the files would not be something that'd involve drastic changes. A file is moved to bin, parts of the chunks needed for another files are moved to uTorrentPartFile, and that's it.I checked the forum to see if there were similar threads but could not find any that would address this very problem. If there were, please could you at least notify me of the reasons why the feature was not implemented. Thanks in advance.
