833P
I can barely upload with this ticked in a new torrent. Unticked I'm uploading to the max.I was pulling my hair out wonder wtf was wrong until I changed this setting. Is this a recorded bug?
moogly
Supeerseeding is really dependent on initial conditions like the swarm quality and size. So it's normal to observe non constant upload speeds at the max.
833P
Initially I was uploading to one peer @ 15kb/s. Then a second one appeared and seeding virtually stopped. When he went offline for a few minutes it started again. After about 3/4 of an hour I had 3 peers and was uploading next to nothing to any of them. At this point I turned Initial Seeding off. Uploading immediately rose to 120+kb/s to the same 3 I'd previously had difficulties with.
moogly
Yeas, because your initial swarm is surely too greedy, if you are connected only to 4 peers and only one is okay to upload to the others, the UL speed can be erratic.
833P
I want the swarm to be greedy when I'm seeding a new torrent. Clearly something is wrong with the way Initial Seeding is implemented if you cannot upload.
