simonbcn Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 Hi,Only a question: is there any provided date to release the first stable version for Linux? In private trackers is almost impossible use alpha/beta versions. Regards.
hampsterblade Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 In my general experience it's hard to tell the release data of an alpha product. You don't know when a bug might come up, so programming paths are unpredictable. So far the linux server seems to be working well though, so you never know. Just have to give it some time, and be glad the guys at utorrent are finally appeasing us linux users.
simonbcn Posted February 18, 2011 Author Report Posted February 18, 2011 We have no ETA for a stable release.Ok, thanks.
simonbcn Posted June 28, 2011 Author Report Posted June 28, 2011 Sorry to insist but I think that it's very important to release a first stable version. The windows version has already released a stable 3.0.Many private trackers refuse to allow the use of beta clients and even less alpha.Windows versions almost always have problems on Linux with Wine. Please, can you release a first stable version? I think the current stability of the Linux version allows this.Thanks. Regards.
