silvyus_06 Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 hi so i downloaded a .iso file which is big 3.47 GB and it helped me alot and i was thinking "hey, what about giving back to the community now " although after i downloaded it i had a 1:1 ratio . anyways i chose to seed it again.now i have a problem : though the torrent has many peers (around 200-400) i never get to use my full upload speed it only uses like 5KB/s which is only 1/3 of my 15KB i can seed with . i'm right now uploading some 50MB files to adrive(.)com and in system resources in networking (i use windows btw) and it shows like 130kbps constantly (which is kinda all my 15KB/s i guess)sometimes i even leave my PC on when i go to school only for seeding that torrent, though when i get back home i find out i only uploaded like 50MB after 6 hours of continuous seeding. i mean, how the heck can some simple jaava app from sun microsystems make use of all my bandiwdth to upload but utorrent can't/... i mean , c'mon with 15kb/s i should be able to upload 50mb/h which kinda means 350mb in 6 hours and that are not my results please help ad sorry for the long thread but that's me..
DreadWingKnight Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Is there actually someone to upload to?
silvyus_06 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Report Posted February 22, 2011 well yes i guess there is since there are like 400 leechers connected and only 200 seeds so i suppose that 3-4 leechers could use my connection.. i don't really know how these things work i tried setting up mor epeer connections and that kind of stuff but still now it also got slower. not to mention that i have to wait like an hour until i actually can start seeding at like 1-2kb/s i'm sad now
DreadWingKnight Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Screenshot showing the seeds and peers columns please.
