kipe933
I want to store my .torrent files in a separate directory from the downloads themselves. Is there a way to do this? Right now, if I move the download, BitTorrent simply restarts the download since it doesn't see that I have any parts of the file.
moogly
Preferences > Directories then define a .torrent storage folder. But you need to know µT saves by default .torrents in %appdata%\utorrent and doesn't track the 1st copy of the .torrent you loaded into µT. µT stores only the working copy it has created and the 1st copy can be deleted if you want.In addition, using Set Download Location (right click on a torrent job) moves the files for you. You don't need to move the files manually then set a new location, just use the function.

Everything you download after you change the download location gets put in the new spot, but the old stuff stays where it was.(The new beta changes that, but.)
