Izenhart
This thing..this thing is making me go crazy.I'm still having the red dot problem on uTorrent, telling me I have a firewall/router limiting my bandwidth AND that my NAP-PMP/UPnP is disabled. Now:I went to my router address and enabled UPnP.I went again to my router address and enabled NAP-PMP.I went to my modem and enabled UPnP there too.I went to my modem and didn't enable NAP-PMP simply because my modem doesn't have a voice for it.After that I went to Port Forwarding of my Router and enabled the uTorrent port wich I'm using. Then I went to Port Forwarding of my Modem and enabled the uTorrent port too. Then I disabled AVG Firewall and my Router internal Firewall.I reset my router/modem, restart the PC and relog in uTorrent.Result: Red Dot, NAP-PMP/UPnP not enabled, a firewall/router is limiting your bandwidth.REALLY!?!?! ARE YOU FRICKIN SERIOUS!?!?
moogly
Firstly you can disable NAT-PMP in µT, because UPnP is enough to open a port.My guess is you're likely double NATed because your modem acts like a router too. You can set it as access point or add a 2nd portforwarding rule.Read the user guide in µT (press F1), there is a chapter about portforwarding a chain of routers.
