elbeasto
The peers list shows my computer downloading to itself. :/I have never seen this before, is there something wrong here or is it normal? Thanks
moogly
It's not a bug, and you are NOT sharing to yourself. It's just a DNS game, one peer (precisely its ISP) has set its reverse DNS as .localhost, that's why you're seeing your computer name. elbeasto
Ta for the reply.Good to know it's not a bug or that I've been hacked but does that explain why it would show as one of the peers that I'm downloading from? Thanks. moogly
As I said, DNS game. µT or the user can do nothing to fix that, it's in the hands of the peer ISP. And it's just a glitch in the IP resolution, not important.
GTHK
Right-click, uncheck resolve IP's.
