I can't help but notice that the webui doesn't work, and it doesn't seem like I've missed something. It's sort of there, but not accessible. When accessing the IP:8080/gui I get a message that it's not installed, but it's not available for installation, it seems.

Thanks for the hard work guys. Great update. Has all the features I need now!

You'll probably need to install webui.zip by hand. Just copy it into the settings directory. Or just use µTorrent Web.

I had the same issues, I searched for webui.zip on the forums here and got what appears to be the latest version. I copied it to ~>Library>Application Support>uTorrent and restarted uTorrent and bang webui working wonderful.

Just wondering, does the WebUI have support for mobile devices, i.e. iphone, android? Or do they view the webui the same as your desktop browsers?

The classic WebUI has only one gui (though you can install another one), but µTorrent Web has both the desktop and mobile UI. There's also an Android app for µT Web.

So where's the "Add New Torrent" window? This was the one feature that made me finally switch to uTorrent and now I can't find it.

Might need to turn it on in the preferences.

I have it enabled, but its still not showing up when I add a torrent.

Other than that, 1.5 beta is working great. :D Thanks for adding a webui and RSS feeds. :)

I have 2 queries :-

1) Will 1.1 beta get a 1.1 stable version or will the next stable version go from 1.0.2 to 1.5? i.e. will there be a stable 1.1 version?

The reason I am asking this is most private torrent sites do not allow beta versions. so, I am stuck at 1.0.2 stable version.

I was hoping that 1.1 beta will go stable.

Now, this 1.5 beta has been released. Does this mean we will have to wait at-least a month before we get another stable version?

2) Also, was this 1.5 beta optimized for the developer preview build of Lion OSX 10.7?

Please note that this keyboard shortcut only works on keyboard layouts where Option + , gives ≤, which excludes a good few.

i also, do not see the "add new torrent" box that was added in 1.1

i looked in the preferences but saw nothing about it.

other than that. the upload download boxes look nice in my dock lol

and it quits A LOT faster than the stable

but it takes a while to start up now.

When uploading something at 200–400 KB/s µTorrent uses 20–30% of CPU. I have disabled encryption, diskio.flush_files — nothing helps. Even being idle, with totally disabled network, µTorrent uses 7–15% of CPU time! Due to that my MBP is always hot and noisy when µTorrent is launched...

VLC, for instance, when playing a DivX movie (x1600 GPU, no hardware DivX decoder), uses only 7–8% of CPU.

Hey' date=' where is the Add new torrent window? I already have it enabled in preferences, but still not showing up. :([/quote']

Same problem here!

Same problem here!

Same here, it's funny, because I mentioned about this to Firon in the '1.5 alpha', and he told me he won't look at my complaint as it wasn't a public release..

I guess it's time to complain now, naah, just kidding! Great work!

Here's my workaround, which I feel is quite good:

- automatically load .torrent files from my Download folder, then delete them.

- don't autostart torrent

- I just go to newly added torrent, choose which files to download + set download location

- start the torrent

Keep up the great work, cheers

Seb
