I'm an Ubuntu 10.10 maverick amd64 user. when I transitioned from windows to linux about 2 and half years ago one program I missed was utorrent. and I don't like using Wine, or other emulation, so I have been having to settle for deluge. which for some reason will jump to 100% usage on my cpu, for weird reasons. I want the tiny micro torrent again...

Wine Is Not a Emulator!!!!!!!!!

for your questions, reading the forums would have answered your questions, it's at alpha phase so it is to early to say when the final will come out. As for 64bit, a dev is working on it, again, this is alpha......

well I finally dropped deluge as it would use 100% cpu every now and then and it irritated me, so I switched to a client that is the closest to utorrent... still uses a little more resource but it works. but it doesn't go to 100%

I recommend qBittorrent, it's as close to uTorrent as it can be possible.

Very reliable and quite good, but still not uTorrent... :(

Any release date yet?
