utorrent not downloading

When I open up uTorrent and add a torrent(movie) to download it just sits there and doesn't download. I don't know if its my computer or the program because I did get one movie to 99% then it stopped and im getting an upload speed but no download but when I do get a down load it doesn't do anything. And the little dot in the bottom right hand corner is yellow saying there is no incoming connection. Can someone help

Hey Admins,

My problem is with downloading torrents on a 2010 MacBook Pro, OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.6.

First though, I've used utorrent for around three years now, and have always been satisfied with it's performance, so it was my first choice when I switched to Mac last year.

It worked fine until a few weeks ago, now I don't seem to be able to download files, it still seems to be seeding ok. I have made a genuine effort to find a solution in the troubleshooting section and the FAQs, with no visible result. I understand that you guys are very busy, and that the windows section may take priority at times because there are alot more people using it.

If there is a solution could you guys post it up, or post a link to it when you can, as I would rather stick with this Bit Torrent client as it has always worked well up to now.

Have read a lot of posts from people with this problem, doen't appear to be a solution. Perhaps there is another Bit Torrent Client that works with Mac?
